Release Notice: Staria Estonia Localization

Release Date: April 7, 2022

Changes to the KMD INF B (Purchase Annex) threshold calculation and invoiceSumVat total amount

Previously, the default threshold calculation only considers transaction lines with tax at standard rates or reduced rates. In 1.8.4, this will change to the gross amount of the supplier invoices. Furthermore, the invoiceSumVat element will now include the line item amounts with other tax codes.

Example:

If a supplier invoice amounts to 800 EUR excluding VAT with a 20% tax rate, this will now be included in the KMD INF Part B since it met the 1000 EUR threshold, having a gross amount of 1020 EUR.

Fix to the Amounts Reported in KMD (VAT Declaration)

In the previous version, all amounts reflected in the KMD are reflected with an absolute value which may result in an incorrect amount calculated in box 12 or 13 in some cases. In 1.8.4, the amounts will now show the actual sign.

Moreover, validation has been added so that only positive amounts can be entered into the following entry fields for Adjustment boxes 10 and 11, respectively.

Default Saved Search Sourcing for Reverse Charge Acquisitions in Box 1

The saved search [STA] EE VAT Report - Box 1 which is the default source of amounts reported in box 1 previously does not consider the reverse charge acquisition scenario. Box 1 will now include the following transaction lines by default:

  1. Sales transactions where tax codes' [STA] EE VAT Position includes 1 and Reverse Charge Code is unchecked.

  2. Purchase transactions where tax codes' [STA] EE VAT Position includes 1 and Reverse Charge Code is checked.

Important: If you are using the default search as source, you will need to update the tax codes to:

  1. Select 1 in the [STA] EE VAT Position field; and

  2. Mark the Reverse Charge box if the tax code is for reverse charge acquisition.

  3. Unmark the Reverse Charge Code if the tax code is for sales.

Fixed the “Invalid content was found starting with element ‘sumForRateInPeriods’.” error.

The error “Invalid content was found starting with element ‘sumForRateInPeriods’.” when submitting the XML file is now fixed.
