What is KSeF?
KSeF is a system for issuing, receiving, storing, accessing, and designing invoices structured by the identification number assigned in the KSeF. It is also designed to notify users of KSeF.
KSeF is used to analyze and check the correctness of structured invoice data. Allows you to authenticate and verify KSeF permissions you have by the entities referred to in Article 106nb of the act. Notify entities other than those specified in Article 106nb of the law on the lack of rights to use this system.
You can also use KSeF to grant, modify, or revoke permissions to use its system and notification of entities referred to in Article 106nb of the law on permissions to use the system or their withdrawal.
When will Staria Poland Localization for NetSuite support KSeF?
Poland’s Ministry of Finance announced that the implementation date of mandatory KSeF has been postponed. The KSeF, due to take effect on 1 July 2024, will be implemented at a later date. [Source]
2025 Update : Poland’s Ministry of Finance announced that the implementation date of mandatory KSeF has been scheduled for 2026.
Despite this postponement, the Staria SuiteApp team is excited to announce that Version 4.0.0 of the Staria Poland Localization for NetSuite will introduce support for KSeF. This aligns with our commitment to meeting industry regulations and customer expectations.
The key feature of version 4.0.0 addresses the forthcoming government requirement that is expected to be mandatory. Recognizing the evolving landscape and the importance of proactively meeting compliance standards, Staria has accelerated the development of this feature to ensure our customers are well-prepared for the future. Before the release of version 4.0.0, customers can contact their Staria sales representative if they require a project for testing KSeF in their NetSuite sandbox. This gives customers enough time to test the new feature and make the necessary preparations before deploying version KSeF. We will announce the availability of Poland V4.0.0 in the upcoming months.
What is included in KSeF of Poland version 4.0.0?
KSeF Invoice sending for Poland includes:
NetSuite Fields required for tracking KSeF relevant data
KSeF File creation engine, to generate KSeF submittable files.
Connection to the KSeF system via Operator to send invoices.
KSeF Invoice receiving:
KSeF Files will be stored in NetSuite. Images of received files can be viewed so transactions can be entered manually.
Approvals and conversion to NetSuite Records through customers AP Solution.
