4.0.0

4.0.0

We are pleased to announce a major transition of our SuiteApp from the traditional Managed Bundle deployment model to the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), now officially available via the NetSuite SuiteApp Marketplace.

This milestone represents a significant modernization of our SuiteApp’s architecture and delivery. It ensures improved maintainability, faster deployment, automatic updates, and long-term compatibility with future NetSuite platform releases.

What this means for you:

  • Your existing configuration and data will remain intact.

  • New versions will be automatically pushed to your environment.

  • Access control and licensing remain managed by our team.

Migration from Bundle to SDF Version

If your account is still using the bundle-based version of the Staria Poland Localization SuiteApp, please note that an additional preparation step is required before you can transition to the new SDF-based version (v4.0.0).

A detailed migration guide has been prepared to help you through this process safely.

Important: Do not uninstall your existing bundle.
Uninstalling the bundle will permanently remove certain objects and may result in the loss of historical data.

Refer to the full migration instructions here: https://staria.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPLS/pages/2923200519

JPK_KR_PD

The new JPK_KR_PD file generation feature allows users to export data for the, as defined by the Polish Ministry of Finance.

  • Aligned with the official JPK_KR_PD v1-0E schema

JPK_KR_ST Conversion Feature

The JPK_ST_KR structure relates to property, plant, and equipment records and is part of the extended audit file (Jednolity Plik Kontrolny – JPK) reporting requirements in Poland. This feature is intended for companies that need to convert accounting data into an XML file that conforms to the official XSD schema defined by the Polish Ministry of Finance.

Unlike other JPK structures, this feature does not generate the report data automatically from NetSuite. Instead:

  • You must prepare and supply a CSV file based on your internal systems or data exports

  • The SuiteApp provides a conversion tool to transform your CSV into an XML file compliant with the Ministry’s schema

Key Benefit:
Enables efficient and accurate generation of the official JPK_KR_ST report for fiscal reporting and audits.

Enhancements

NBP Exchange Rate Integration

We are introducing a new and improved NBP (Narodowy Bank Polski) exchange rate integration as an alternative to our existing FX rate integration feature.

  • This upgrade is optional for existing customers.
Your system will continue using the current FX rate integration unless you choose to configure and enable the new NBP exchange rate integration. New implementations will automatically use the new NBP exchange rate integration API.

  • Why upgrade? The NBP integration provides enhanced reliability and better user experience.

  • What do you need to do?

FIFO Revaluation

Replacement of Custom Transactions with Journal Entries

As part of the SDF transition, the FIFO feature has been updated to replace Custom Transactions with Journal Entry (JE) postings.

Key Details:

  • Applies only to the FIFO functionality.

  • Ensures the same GL impact as the previous custom transaction logic.

  • FIFO Multi-book posting remains unaffected.

Patches

JPK V7

  • JPK File Rounding Correction of Position 38

    • A rounding discrepancy was identified in Position 38 of the JPK file, resulting in a consistent 1 PLN difference in submitted reports. This patch updates the rounding logic to ensure accurate totals and full alignment with Polish tax authority requirements.

Invoice PDF

  • Company Name Display Fix

    • This patch refines the billing address rendering logic in the invoice template to ensure the company name is displayed only once.

  • Label Corrections

    • Ensures all invoice PDFs use correct Polish phrasing without altering any underlying calculations or formatting.

General Update

  • Field Changes and Migration

    • The fields custrecord_sta_derivedfrompercent_2 and custrecord_sta_pl_non_deduct_prcnt have been removed from the SDF version of the SuiteApp.

    • Two new replacement fields, custrecord_sta_core_nondeductratefrompct and custrecord_sta_core_derivedfrompercent, have been introduced in the Staria Core Localization SuiteApp.

    • During the installation of Poland Localization 4.0, all existing values from the deprecated fields are automatically migrated to the corresponding new CORE fields, ensuring full continuity of data.

  • Address Field Visibility Enhancement

    • Updated the address field visibility logic so that Poland-specific fields are displayed only when “Poland” is selected as the Country. This ensures cleaner forms and prevents irrelevant fields from appearing for other countries.
