Migrating from Bundle to SDF Version
Overview
This page is intended only for customers currently using the bundle-based version of the Staria Poland Localization SuiteApp who will be transitioning to the new SDF-based version (v4.0.0) available through the NetSuite SuiteApp Marketplace.
The migration to SDF introduces a new deployment model, ensuring smoother updates, improved reliability, and long-term scalability.
To ensure a successful upgrade, please follow the preconditions and installation steps outlined below.
Required Action Before Upgrading to Version 4.0.0 (SDF)
Before upgrading to the SDF-based version, review the information below to confirm that your account meets all prerequisites and that no critical objects will be lost or overwritten during the transition.
If Your Account Is on Version 3.9.11
You’re on the correct architecture for the transition. However, do not install version 4.0.0 (SDF) immediately. Perform the steps below to prepare your environment before the actual upgrade.
If Your Account Is on Version 3.9.0 to 3.9.10
You are on a compatible structure, but you must first update to version 3.9.11 to align with the latest dependencies before proceeding with SDF migration. After updating to 3.9.11, follow the same preparation steps listed below.
If Your Account Is on a Version Older Than 3.9.0
Additional setup is required before migration. If your current version is 3.8.x or lower, complete the following first:
Install the Staria Core Localization SuiteApp.
See detailed steps here: https://staria.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPLS/pages/1811120136Update the Poland Localization Bundle to version 3.9.11.

This ensures all shared libraries and identifiers are in sync with the new SDF architecture.Update the Poland Localization Bundle to the latest 3.9.11 release.
Confirm that the update is successful and no errors occurred during deployment.Review custom objects for potential conflicts.
Before installing the SDF version, carefully review whether any custom scripts, records, forms, or fields introduced by your organization may be overwritten or deleted during migration.Export backups of affected objects if necessary.
Coordinate with your technical team to assess dependencies.
Update the App ID from the Staria Core Localization SuiteApp.
The new SDF architecture relies on App ID linkage between Core and Country SuiteApps. Ensure that your Core SuiteApp App ID is up to date before proceeding.
To update the App ID using the built-in updater script
Navigate to Customization > Scripting > Script Deployments.
Locate and click View next to the deployment named [STA-CORE] App ID Updater.
In the deployment record, click the URL link to open the App ID updater page in a new tab.
On the updater page, click Start to initiate the App ID update process.
Once complete, review the results displayed on screen:
If the update finishes successfully, no further action is required.
If errors are reported, identify the affected objects and manually update their App IDs in the corresponding records before proceeding with the installation. Use the App ID
com.staria.pllocalization. Note: Make sure that the ID of the object is not changed.
