1.6.13

Release Notes: Latvia Version 1.6.13

This release focuses on strengthening compliance with Latvian VAT (PVN) regulations, while also improving data accuracy and streamlining user workflows. The enhancements are designed to help your organization meet local tax requirements more efficiently and with greater confidence.

Key Benefits

  • Improved compliance with Latvian tax authorities through expanded and more precise transaction type options.

  • Enhanced data accuracy and reporting granularity with line-level transaction type support.

  • Reduced manual effort and risk of errors via automated field sourcing.

New Features & Enhancements

  • The Transaction Types (Darijuma Veids) list has been expanded to include codes R1 through R9, ensuring full compliance with the latest Latvian VAT reporting requirements.

  • Line-level Transaction Types (Darijuma Veids) are now available through a new custom line field on transactions, enabling more detailed and compliant reporting.

  • An additional custom item field has been introduced in the item record, which will automatically source the appropriate value for the line-level Transaction Type, reducing manual data entry and supporting compliance.

  • The saved search used as the source for PVN1I has been updated:

    • If the header-level Transaction Type field is populated, it will supersede the line-level value.

    • If the header-level field is not populated, the system will use the line-level Transaction Type.

Bundle Update

When performing the bundle update, select Merge as the preference for the [STA] LV PVN Tran Type (customlist_sta_lv_txntype_pvn). This ensures that the list of transaction types (Darijuma Veids) is updated with the latest codes and values, while preserving any existing customizations or additions.

Additional Components

  • Item Field

    • LV PVN Transaction Type (custitem_sta_lv_txntype_pvn)

  • Transaction Line Field

    • LV PVN Transaction Type (custcol_sta_lv_txntype_pvn)

User Actions Required

  1. Update your existing transaction and item forms to display the newly introduced fields, ensuring all relevant data can be entered and viewed as needed.

  2. If you are using a custom saved search for mapping in PVN1-I, review and update the formula in the DarVeids column to accommodate the new logic and fields.
