  2. Country-Specific SDF Projects → This is where the specific components of each country will be developed, kept, and maintained.

Setting Up on New SuiteTax Enabled NetSuite Instance

  1. Install the country-specific Legacy bundle

  2. Install the Nordics Foundation SDF project

  3. Install the country-specific SDF project

  4. Set up the new Localization Settings (country-specific)

Setting Up on Existing SuiteTax Enabled NetSuite Instance

  1. Update to the latest country-specific Legacy Bundle

  2. Install the Nordics Foundation SDF project

  3. Install the country-specific SDF project

  4. Set up the new Localization Settings (country-specific)

Changes Made on the Legacy Bundles

  1. Updated the Localization Nordics Tran On Submit (customscript_sta_ue_nord_tran_bfrsubmit) script so that:

    1. EC Sales should NOT be executed

    2. VAT Summary should NOT be executed

Improvements Made on the New SDFs

  1. The new Invoice PDF/HTML templates now use the Translation Collection feature. The legacy bundle uses If-Else statements embedded inside the templates to translate each

  2. Country-specific Localization Settings (a custom record) are now introduced in the new SDF Projects. The legacy bundle shares the same Localization Settings record for all Nordic apps.

Country-Specific Localization Settings

To set up the country-specific localization settings:

  1. Global search: “<country name> Localization Settings”

  2. Select the Subsidiary

  3. Select the Nexus

  4. Save
