Creating and Updating Customer records


To create a customer record navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers > New.

To edit a customer record navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers. Find the customer and click the Edit button.

Mandatory Information for NAV Reporting

The following information are required when sending invoices to NAV.

  • Company Name

  • Primary Billing Address

  • VAT Status

  • VAT Number

Customer VAT Status Suggestion

The user can select the VAT status manually or let the Staria Hungary Localization SuiteApp suggest the correct VAT status when saving the customer record.

When the Enable Customer VAT Status preference is enabled, this feature will suggest the option to choose for the [STA] HU CUSTOMER VAT STATUS field.

The message will be displayed upon save of a customer record where [STA] HU CUSTOMER VAT STATUS is blank or incorrect based on the following decision tree:

Entering Tax Number / VAT Number information

Please work with your Implementation consultant to identify which field is being used to save the tax number and/or the VAT number.

The default field used is the TAX REG. NUMBER field {vatregnumber}.

This works hand in hand with the Customer Tax Number Field Sourcing preference found in the Hungary Localization Settings record.

Preferences

To print the invoice / credit memo in Hungarian Language, you need to set the customer preferred language to Hungary.
